Alanya's international airport "Gazipaşa" (Gazipasa) has recently received a million passengers. They became a citizen of Belgium, who flew to Alanya on vacation. For the guest of honor the airport administration organized a solemn meeting.
Recall that Gazipasa International Airport is a small air harbor that receives up to one and a half million passengers a year. Despite the fact that the Turkish government organized construction work in the early 90s, it was only opened in 2010. Then it was used only for domestic traffic, taking daily flights from Istanbul.
In the air harbor of Gazipasha, the passenger traffic increases every month and the number of flights from different countries grows. For example, since last spring, direct regular flights from Russia have been flying to Gazipasha. In addition, this year, for the first time, charters from Russia will be launched in the winter.
It is planned that due to the growth of passenger traffic, Gazipasha Airport will be expanded, in particular, the arrival and departure halls will be increased.
